Purchased in Herring Cove, Nova Scotia. Narrow, oak platforms, hand carved, thick screw in the heel, two small spikes in the toe. Leathers hand stitched. Blade appears to be stamped but not legible.

Tempered steel blade stamped, MADE IN CANADA, 'Ladies Arts', 9 1/2 and TEMPERED. Holes in the platform so the blade can be permanently fixed to the boot. Blade riveted to steel platform.
