Leathers complete although one heel leather is not attached. Brass toe plates. Barbs in toe, heel screws. |

A-3 RARE CHILDREN'S/LADIES' SKATES Country of Origin: England Circa: 1870 Platform Length: 9 1/8" Overall Length: 9 1/2" Width: 2 1/8" Blade Width: 3/16" slightly rockered Beech platforms, brass toe plates and most of the original varnish. Steel blades stamped, COLOUHOUN & CADMAN, SHEFFIELD. "LSH" stenciled into the platform (initials?). Leather straps seem complete although the toe straps are not likely original.
Children's ice skates are rare. There weren't that many made and those were passed down from child to child so few survived. |
